Model smiling wearing crescent bleu black Maya Ruffle Swim top & black Cheeky Bikini bottom.

In creating crescent bleu, we envisioned a swimwear brand that supports the journey, wellness, and empowerment of our wearer- in style and comfort of course✨ We knew that its creation could not come at the expense of people or the planet. This journey is an on-going effort and an evolving commitment- just as in our individual lives.

Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world. ~Howard Zinn

Sustainability is a committed way of thinking and innovating. It is not a trend, rather It is and should be the standard. We see it with a multi-focused approach. Some of the pillars to our commitment include:

  • Prioritizing the resilience of our supply chain. Garment makers are skilled workers and deserve fair living wages and dignity.

  • Utilizing premium materials responsibly made from 100% regenerated nylon of marine and landfill wastes. Never compromising on style or fit, we make swimwear that's easy to love like our Maya and Cheeky Bikini pictured.

  • Breaking from the business model of overproduction and excessive collection making.

  • Shipping products in plant based 100% biodegradable and certified home-compostable mailers. Reduced shipping volume. Simply toss our plant based mailers in your compost or garden- or with the double adhesive strip you may use it a 2nd time.

  • Supporting the well being of our communities & the issues that impact them; cultivating joy, sustainable lifestyles, & body positivity; & being a voice for social justice accountability.

We’re happy to exist where we are in this journey and glad to be in the company of brands and consumers making genuinely impactful decisions. It’s in our DNA.
